About Me
I’m Amanda, a warm, thoughtful, and approachable celebrant. If you are looking for somebody who really enjoys working with people, who’s easy to talk to, and can take the stress out of planning your ceremony, then I would be delighted to work for, and with you.
As an independent celebrant I seek to offer unique ceremonies that are tailored completely to you, or your family. I want to work with you to create unique, personal ceremonies that reflect you, and your loved ones, and that both create beautiful memories, as well as celebrate and reflect life’s rich tapestry.
I draw inspiration from people and their stories that they share with me. I also look to reflect in my ceremonies the rich tapestry of life, and love to include ideas from literature and the arts to create stylish and memorable ceremonies. Although I have a strong respect for tradition, ritual and symbols, I also seek to be creative and to craft ceremonies that step beyond tradition. Every ceremony, for every individual, couple, or family, is an expression of a unique journey.

Celebrancy is, for me, so very much more than a job. It is always about designing and delivering a ceremony that’s truly personal and meaningful to you and your family and friends, and that reflects your journey and your family’s most important beliefs and values.
Building a relationship between you and me is crucial so that you can be sure that you have chosen the right celebrant, and that our connection is based on trust, care, integrity and humour. I will always prioritise you.
- As your wedding celebrant, I will put you at the heart of the planning, crafting and officiating a bespoke ceremony that reflects you, is authentically yours, and that makes memories that last a lifetime. I will work with you to make your special day one full of love, joy, meaning, and celebration.
- As your funeral celebrant, I will support you and your family to bring people together to honour and reflect on treasured memories of your loved one. I will work with compassion to create and officiate a beautifully symbolic ceremony that reflects your values, and personal, cultural, or religious traditions.
- As your naming celebrant, I will create a joyous ceremony that celebrates your special moment, that welcomes a new life, marks the joining of families, or that signals a rite of passage and a new beginning.
