A naming ceremony is a wonderful way of welcoming a new child to your family, and marking the important milestone with a beautiful ceremony for your family and friends.

Often a family might not want a traditional church christening, and would prefer something more relaxed with different elements to the ceremony. As a naming celebrant, I can write, and deliver a beautiful, memorable ceremony for your family.

If you have adopted a baby or child, and want to mark their joining your family in a really beautiful, meaningful way, then I can write and deliver a gorgeous, personalised ceremony for you and your family.

You can include in the ceremony promises of commitment to the child, which is a lovely way of saying that you will be the best parents you can be. You can write these promises yourself, or I can help.

The ceremony can be held anywhere – in the family home, hotel or an events space. I can also create a really meaningful ceremony with symbolic elements that mark the birth of your beautiful baby (or babies!).

This is a beautiful way to demonstrate the coming together of the individual members of different families to create a new blended family. It not only symbolises the unity of you as a couple, but also the unity of your children.

I can design and deliver a ceremony that includes all the children in a meaningful way, and celebrates the love that you all have for each other. There are lots of lovely symbolic elements that you can include (and in which the children can take a part) to demonstrate the joining of your families.

This ceremony can be held anywhere – in both indoor and outdoor locations – and are the perfect start to a day of celebrations that could include a picnic, barbeque, camp fire, gathering, or a feast!
